Installing

Quick install checklist​

  1. Download CCX unless Creative Cloud blocks it.
  2. Install the plugin.
  3. Restart Photoshop.
  4. Open Plugins > grzy.tools Preview.
  5. Sign in with Discord.
  6. If Gold features are locked, check Discord and Patreon setup.

Download​

Choose one package:

  • CCX - recommended for normal users. Double-click to install it automatically.
  • ZIP - manual install package. Use this if CCX install is blocked.

Installing the CCX package​

Use this method if you just want the regular Photoshop plugin install.

  1. Download grzyPhotoshopTool.ccx.
  2. Double-click the .ccx file — it will install automatically.
  3. Start Photoshop.
  4. Open Plugins > grzy.tools Preview.

If CCX does not open​

If double-clicking the CCX file does nothing:

  1. Make sure Adobe Creative Cloud is installed and running.
  2. Right-click the .ccx file.
  3. Choose Open with and select Adobe Creative Cloud.
  4. If Creative Cloud still refuses the file, use the ZIP installation method below.

Updating from an older CCX​

  1. Close Photoshop.
  2. Install the newer CCX package.
  3. Reopen Photoshop.
  4. If the old panel still appears, restart Creative Cloud and Photoshop.

Installing the ZIP package​

Use this method if CCX installation is not available.

  1. Download grzyPhotoshopTool.zip.
  2. Navigate to your Photoshop plugins folder.
  3. Place the ZIP file in the plugins folder and extract it there.
  4. Start Photoshop.
  5. Open Plugins > grzy.tools Preview.

Updating from an older ZIP​

  1. Close Photoshop.
  2. Download the new ZIP package.
  3. Extract it over the existing plugin folder in the plugins directory.
  4. Start Photoshop again.

No Photoshop? Use Photopea (free, browser)​

If you don't have Photoshop, run the same tool in Photopea — a free browser editor. Nothing to download or install:

  1. Open Photopea.
  2. Open the Plugins tab.
  3. Search for grzy.tools Plugin - Live 3D GTA5 Textures Preview and open it.
  4. Sign in with Discord inside the panel.

First launch​

When the panel opens, sign in with Discord inside the panel. grzyPhotoshopTool uses Discord login to identify your grzy.tools account and check supporter features.

If the panel was already open before installation or login, close and reopen the panel after the install finishes.

  • Plugin missing from Photoshop: restart Photoshop and verify the plugin is installed in Creative Cloud.
  • Login stuck: close the login window, sign in on grzy.tools, then reopen the panel.
  • Gold features locked: check that Patreon is connected to the same Discord account used in the panel.
  • CCX install blocked: use the ZIP installation method above.
